The Fortune 52, is a weekly column in the Long Island Press which honors women who lead multiple lives, making significant and unique contributions in their community or workplace: women from all walks of life, including business owners, businesswomen, homemakers, community advocates, tradeswomen and women of distinctive achievement.
Some have found their fulfillment in starting their own business, others working for a charity, but whether they’re a princess or a former foster child, a CEO or an administrative assistant, the lives and work of 52 women who inspire by their example are honored in print and online by the Long Island Press each week. The column is written by Beverly Fortune who is the Associate Publisher of the Long Island Press.
